Poblados del Sur (also known as Pobles del Sud) is a district in Valencia located south of the city. It’s made up of seven towns that were joined with Valencia in 1877. Back then, Ruzafa and these towns were considered separate municipalities. Pobles del Sud is the biggest district in Valencia.<\/p>\n
It’s important to note that in 1811, Ruzafa, which included the areas now part of Ensanche, Quatre Carreres, and Poblados del Sur, became an independent municipality. But in 1877, they became part of Valencia along with the seven towns.<\/p>\n
