It imports green (unroasted) coffee directly from small producers in Costa Rica.<\/p>\n<p>With Zanto Coffee, we follow the coffee&#8217;s entire journey, from its cultivation to its arrival in customers&#8217; cups.<\/p>\n<p>Coffee growing in Costa Rica is done on hilly terrain and therefore coffee can only be hand-picked, in most cases by migrants from neighboring countries. These seasonal pickers benefit from fair wages and a range of health and family services ( such as kindergartens or day care centers for their children ). This product line is personally curated by Wendy Campos who has more than 18 years of experience in the coffee business and is part of a family with a long tradition of producers. She has worked many years with our trusted producers to help them improve quality, experiment with different processing methods, and export their products in a fair and equitable manner. One of these most exciting innovations is the production of dried coffee fruit pulp to be used as an infusion. The pulp of the coffee fruit is selected, dried and sterilized for food use. Said product has already been authorized by the European Community for marketing, and Zant\u00f3 Coffee is in the process of importing it for sale in Spain. It is a very important product for the circular economy and sustainability. People have an espresso before starting work, in the mid-morning break, with friends and colleagues, after lunch, before going back to work. Stopping at the bar for coffee is a moment, albeit brief, of conviviality. A word is exchanged with the bartender about the weather, about soccer games, the bar neighbor, sipping his espresso, gives his opinion&#8230; To enter a bar in Italy is to enter a world of small talk, noises of plates and cups, and over everything hovers the scent of freshly ground and prepared coffee. A conviviality that becomes, at times, also solidarity. The tradition of &#8220;suspended coffee&#8221; started in Naples: the customer who can afford to pay a little more leaves a contribution so that those who cannot afford it can also have their coffee. Thus were born the Capo in B from Trieste (halfway between espresso macchiato and cappuccino), the Sicilian ammantecato (which involves the use of almond milk), the Calabrian coffee with licorice, the Sicilian coffee granita&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The blends that make up the Zant\u00f3 line feature different types of flavors and roasts to meet the various tastes of customers. Importa caf\u00e9 verde (sin tostar) directamente de peque\u00f1os productores de Costa Rica.<\/p>\n<p>Con Zanto Coffee seguimos todo el viaje del caf\u00e9, desde su cultivo hasta que llega a la taza del cliente.<\/p>\n<p>El cultivo del caf\u00e9 en Costa Rica se realiza en terrenos monta\u00f1osos, por lo que el caf\u00e9 s\u00f3lo puede recolectarse a mano, en la mayor\u00eda de los casos por emigrantes de los pa\u00edses vecinos. Estos recolectores estacionales se benefician de salarios justos y de una serie de servicios sanitarios y familiares (como guarder\u00edas o jardines de infancia para sus hijos).
