Consistently good. Weekday or weekend. We were back for lunch on a Sunday at Burger Beer, this time with 6 other friends. We all voted for YAY on this one.

We will be trying out their other location in Ruzafa once we figure out their hours. According to Google Maps, the location in Ruzafa is closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. According to the Burger Beer website, both locations are open from 1:30pm to 4::00pm and then again from 8:00pm to midnight, every day of the week. Once we hear back from them, we’ll be updating this post.

The Starters

The fun part is once you’re seated, they serve you fresh popcorn and ask for your drink orders. The only time we ordered a starter was on our first visit because we didn’t know how big the portions would be.  I am an aubergine (aka eggplant) fan so we ordered the baked aubergine layered with mozzarella dish which was absolutely scrumptious. However, it was a bit too much with the burger so since then, we only order the burgers.

Burgers, Hot Dogs and Fries. Oh my!

Like all good restaurants, they name their food with fun! California, Double Cheese, Classic……

All quite yummy…..except you can’t order mushrooms. My favorite go-to toppings on a burger are cheese, mushrooms, and bacon and hope for some fresh, crisp lettuce and juicy firm tomatoes.

On this Sunday, most in our group ordered the California burger (avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato and Japanese mayonnaise), one New Yorker (bacon, cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, barbeque sauce, and mustard), and a Double Cheese + bacon for me (extra cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, mustard and barbeque sauce). It was interesting to note that our group was mixed on how cooked they want their meat. 50% wanted it medium, and the other 50% wanted their meat cooked all the way (which in Spain means medium-well).

Burger Beer uses beef for most of their burgers but they do offer a couple of other options like lamb (Pastor) or chicken (Indiano). For hotdogs, they offer a few varieties like the TexMex, Creole and BBQ.

Their fries are shaped like a long, narrow scoop, are tasty but could use more crispness.

Overall, our experiences at Burger Beer has been consistently good service and delicious, well-priced meals. So if you’re looking for a tasty, juicy burger, head on over to one of Burger Beer’s locations and give them a try. We’d love to hear what you think….

Make sure to give Burger Beer some love by following them below.
