ATMV (Autoritat del Transport Metropolità de València) is the public transit system for Valencia and its outlying areas. This system includes Metrovalencia, EMT, RENFE Cercanías and MetroBus.

When you are new to the city or just visiting but plan to use public transit, choosing a SUMA pass is your best bet. Easy to reload, inexpensive, free transfers and can be used by everyone traveling together (up to 15 people and must remain together until the end of the journey).

What is SUMA

SUMA is the new public transit pass from the Autoritat del Transport Metropolità de València (ATMV). It allows you to travel on the same card throughout the Metropolitan Area using Metrovalencia, EMT, RENFE Cercanías and MetroBus (yellow bus). This new pass also allows you to make free transfers between bus, tram and metro within a 90-minute window or up to 110 minutes for the two or three-zone card.

Choose one that suits your needs

SUMA 10: 10-trip pass.
SUMA Mensual: unlimited journeys for 30 days.
SUMA Mensual Jove: comes with an additional 15% discount for Carnet Jove (Youth Card) holders.
SUMA T: unlimited journeys during a period of 24 hours (T1), 48 hours (T2) or 72 hours (T3), excludes the Airport stop.
SUMA T+: unlimited journeys during a period of 24 hours (T1+), 48 hours (T2+) or 72 hours (T3+), includes the Airport stop.

What are the advantages of the SUMA card?

Travel with a single card and cheaper fares.  You can travel with Metrovalencia, EMT, MetroBus and Cercanías de Renfe and  transfer for free, as long as the zone combinations allows it:

• Between different operators (EMT-Renfe, Metrovalencia-Renfe, MetroBus-Renfe, Metrovalencia-EMT, Metrovalencia-MetroBus or MetroBus-EMT).
• Between two different EMT lines.
• Between two different MetroBus lines.

NOTE: Transfers between metro and tram do not count as a transfer. For example, a user can take the metro + tram + EMT using a single SUMA 10 journey.
