Ayora Honey Festival

 

18th Edition of the First Cut of Honey (El Primer Corte de la Miel).

Do you love honey? If you answered YES, then this festival is for YOU! Honey lovers will be coming together in Ayora, a town south east of Valencia City, to enjoy this annual gastronomic, touristic and cultural event. Meet local honey producers and see first hand how beekeepers extract honey. You will be able to sample and buy a wide variety of honey flavors as well as see and purchase honey products such as propolis, royal jelly, sweets, cosmetics, and more.

There will also be an Exhibition of Miniature Regional Costumes by Elena Martínez.

(*) PROGRAM NOTES:

– The organization of the Fair recommends the purchase of honey in the authorized stands within the Apicultural Zone.

– Painting balcony in the Plaza Mayor and Calle Segura. Realized by the School of Painting of Ayora, Almansa and Biar.

– Rates for Guided Tours: Castellar de Meca € 3, Abrigo de Tortosilla € 3, Ayora Cultural Heritage € 2, Red Thread € 2, Family Gymkhana € 2 and Water Route € 3. Bonuses: Children up to 12 years old, retired people and holders of the Carve Jove 50%. School Groups Exempt from payment.

– Guided tours and outdoor activities are directly suspended in case of adverse weather conditions. It is recommended to wear comfortable footwear and lunch.

– Cultural, children and leisure activities are free.

– The organization reserves the right to modify the acts without prior notice.
