Yield: 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4 minutes
Total Time: 7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp almond flour (I use finely ground almonds)
  • 1 tsp baking powder (aluminum free)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cups coarsely grated mozzarella cheese
  • dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat a mini waffle maker or a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, beat the egg until well combined.
  3. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and baking powder to the bowl. Use a fork to thoroughly mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter onto the preheated waffle maker or pan, ensuring that it is spread evenly.
  5. Cook the chaffle for approximately 2-5 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and develops a crispy exterior.
  6. Carefully remove the chaffle from the waffle maker or pan using a silicone spatula.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, making additional chaffles as desired.
  8. Serve the warm cinnamon chaffles with your preferred toppings, such as butter, sugar-free syrup, whipped cream, or fresh berries.
  9. Indulge in the delightful and low-carb goodness of your homemade cinnamon chaffles!

Notes

We don't have a waffle iron, so we always opt for a griddle instead. It works perfectly every time, and each side takes just 2 minutes to cook.

Enjoy these delightful and satisfying chaffles as a guilt-free breakfast or snack option. They are bursting with the aromatic flavors of cinnamon and the irresistible cheesiness you crave. Don't forget to personalize your chaffles with your favorite toppings to create a truly delightful and customized experience.
