After walking four kilometers from Orito, you will arrive at Monforte del Cid. As you continue on Jorge Juan Avenue, you will reach a roundabout where a monument honoring a famous sailor born in this town stands. At this point, pilgrims have two options for their next destination:

Petrer – Municipal Hostel, which is 16 kilometers away
or
Novelda – Hostel, which is only 4 kilometers away.

For those who stayed in Petrer, the next leg of their journey will be Petrer – Villena, covering a distance of 22 kilometers. Those who slept in Novelda will have a longer journey ahead of them, with the next stage being Novelda – Villena, a distance of 35 kilometers.

**NOTE:
When the pilgrim reaches the end of stage number 30 in Benavente, they will have a decision to make. They can choose to continue their journey towards Compostela by taking the Vía de la Plata in the direction of Puebla de Sanabria. From this town in Zamora, they will enter Galicia by walking the Camino Sanabrés, which will take them through several beautiful places including A´Gudiña, Laza, Orense, Ponte Ulla, and Santiago.
