We first discovered Goiko Grill when some friends were visiting from Alicante. They are several locations in Valencia but we usually go to the one on Calle La Paz 9 (Carrer de la Pau, 9 in Valenciano) or Calle Martínez Cubells 4 (Carrer de Martínez Cubells, 4 in Valenciano). They have a menu del dia offer of €11,90 that includes the burger of the day or a light meal + drink + dessert or coffee.
We have also been to their other locations like in Madrid and Alicante. Consistently delicious.
A Burger Joint
Goiko Grill has it all. Delicious, fresh and tasty food. The portions are fairly big so we usually share or skip the starter. We love the quirky names they give their burgers, like the Kevin Burger, the Elvis Burger, and the Kiki Burger (chicken).
The Starters
The Nachos de Daniela is fully loaded with chili con carne, melted cheese, guacamole, tomato, sour cream and jalapeño peppers. It is loaded nicely so each chip has something on it and is crunchy. The Fat Balls (breaded mac & cheese balls) are my other favorite along with the house dipping sauce.
The Burgers and Fries
John and I usually order the Kevin Bacon (they mince the meat directly on the grill and combine it with bacon bits, crunchy onion and American cheese). We have also tried the M30 with grilled goat’s cheese and caramelized onion. *NOTE* The burgers in Spain tend to be undercooked according to how we like to eat our burgers so when ordering we ask for “carne muy hecha y bacon muy hecho tambien”.
Their fries are also pretty good but I usually go with sweet potato fries.
So, if you are looking for a good burger, give Goiko Grill a try. It’s a YAY on in our books! You can’t go wrong.
