Walking through the big wooden doors of Flying Bean Coffee, you immediately notice the high ceilings and minimalist surroundings which leads to a relaxed atmosphere.
We stumbled upon Flying Bean Coffee, a 2-minute walk from the Bailen metro station in the city of Valencia. They offer a unique experience with high-quality coffee taking centre stage…something that is really missing in Valencia. Back in Vancouver, Canada, we are used to an abundance of coffee houses that roast their own beans, or offer a different types of roasts from all around the world.
A trip to Rome changed our coffee (taste) buds forever. Since then, we have been on a quest for the perfect cuppa joe. It seems we have gotten pretty close with making it at home by using a Bialietti, Lavazza coffee and our beloved Nespresso Aeroccino. But what to do when you’re out and about and need that afternoon jolt?
Head over to the Flying Bean Coffee where you can also find other crafted drinks like iced tea (my favorite is hibiscus…so refreshing) or hot chocolate. They also offer a minimal food menu that includes paninis and cakes where fresh ingredients are the key. In addition, there is a small selection of local craft beers and on weekends, they serve-up unique (coffee) cocktails.
It has become the favorite hang-out for Suitcase in SPAIN where you can find us hosting events like Coffee Tastings, Monday Night at the Movies and more.
So, if you’re looking for a great cup of coffee and a place to meet up with some friends, get some work done or simply take some time to relax, head on over to Flying Bean Coffee.
